 Today in class we went over a poem and figured out what the meaning was. We then wrote down notes about the poem and competed a different paper. We had to detailed a hear with symbols and words repreesting the mind and then heart, I enjoyed todays work Beacuse I like being creative and drawing things. I learned diffrent ways on how to read a poem and better understand thr meaning. 

 Today in class we listen to Mr. Rease about a women who is a poem writer and has a special ability for writing sense a young age. She has many famous poems with exceptionally deep meanings behing them. WE also did a worksheet that he helped is figure out and fill out as we went along. We were going to answer some questions on the back on the paper but he decided to make that for tomorrows work. I enjoyed the class beacse I think you explained and thought us about the subject very well.

 Today in class we were assigned 15 words. For each of these words we were instructed to ethire draw or find a picture that demonstrates the meaning and then wtire a brief explanation about the picture and the meaning. I learned today couple new words and there meaning is that I didn't know beofor. I also got a better understanding of the meaning of some of the words. I enjoyed todays work because I like making power points but I also feel as it was so many words to be done in a single day. 

 Today we took a 14 questions assesment about what we have been leaning the past 2 weeks, I think I did good on the test and I was confident with most of my answers. I didn't really enjoy today but not every day is going to be enjoyable. After that I just worked on my power point presentation. I learned better ways on how to take a test and also some things to do with what we are learning. 

 Today we created a power point slide presentation about a specific part of this story. My table and I were assigned the setting section of the story. I enjoyed this class today because I like creating power points and working with others. I learned how to better make a power point and also how to section out speseifc things in a dealtied story. 

 Today we completed a Newslea in class about the Great turtle. We had to read the passage and anwser 4 questions throughout the text. After that we completed a quiz and a little writing prompt. I learned better ways on how to read and answer questions and also about the great tutrtle and the beaifull women. I did not enjoy this class as much as others because I dont like reading and answering questions of newsela I rather do a different assignment.

 Today is class we all created a jam board reflecting the origin myth story we wrote prior. I learned how to create a jamboard and I can use this knowledge for many classes in the future or when I want to show a bit of information to someone In the future. I liked this lesson because we got to use AI and I also like creating things. I feel good today and I enjoyed the class today. There also wansnt anything that I struggled with in class today. 

Prompt :  What are three goals that you want to achieve this year? You must tell and explain each goal. You must also tell how you will achieve that goal.  One goal that I was to active this year is getting a 4.0. I had a 4.0 weighted last year and my goal is to do that again. Im going to stay focused in class and get all my work done when needed. My second goal is going to be get more outgoing and make more friends. I just want to connect with more people that are around me and socialize. My last goal that I want to achieve would be getting an A in my dual enrollment class. The class Is going to be harder but I think if I stay on top of everything then I will be okay.
